Celebration of 15th August the independence day of India in our church.

As a church, it is our annual tradition to honor and celebrate India’s Independence Day on 15 August. This year was no different, as we came together to commemorate this important day in our nation’s history. Our church premises were adorned with vibrant decorations, and we were delighted to have Prakash Sejule, an esteemed elder of our church, as our special guest for the occasion. This day was also marked by the presence of non-Christians and individuals from other Christian denominations, making it a truly inclusive celebration.

The day began with a solemn flag-hoisting ceremony, and our breakfast fellowship afterwards was filled with warmth and camaraderie. It was a time for us to come together as a community, share a meal, and bask in the spirit of unity and patriotism. However, the program did not end here. It was followed by prayer, where we sought the blessings of the Almighty for our nation and its people. Our spirits were lifted as we sang spiritual and national songs, expressing our love for our country and its people.

We were honored to have esteemed guests in attendance, and their presence was a testament to the unity and inclusivity that our church stands for. Their words of wisdom and encouragement were an inspiration to us all. The program also included speeches, where we reflected on the journey of our nation and expressed our gratitude for the freedom and opportunities it has provided us with.

The highlight of the program was the thanksgiving ceremony, where we took a moment to recognize and appreciate the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. We expressed our gratitude towards the brave souls who fought for our independence and reminded ourselves of the importance of preserving the freedom and democracy that they fought for.
This Independence Day celebration was truly a collective effort, with the involvement of many dedicated individuals from our congregation. Sister Reena, Sharon, Shammi, Dorothy, Shraddha, Omkar, Minal, Mrunal, Topo bhai, Wankhede dada, Govind bhai, and the entire congregation worked tirelessly to make this event a success, under the guidance of Rev Kailas Sathe and Pastor Sharada Sathe.
In conclusion, our church’s celebration of India’s Independence Day was a memorable and meaningful experience. It was a time for us to come together, not just as a community, but as proud citizens of our nation, to honor our past, celebrate our present, and envision a better future for our country. As we continue to celebrate this momentous day every year, we are reminded of the importance of unity, inclusivity, and gratitude in shaping a stronger and more prosperous nation.
