“MAKING CHRISTLIKE DISCIPLES”
The Church of Nazarene, Hadapsar, Pune, India, is a part of the Western Maharashtra District Assembly and is dedicated to spreading the teachings of Christ to all corners of the world with the church of Nazarene’s global vision. As part of this commitment, the church organized a two-day discipleship training program on the 18th and 19th of July. The program was conducted by Pastor Nanda Sawansare, an NDI coordinator for Maharashtra, and received an overwhelming response with more than fifty enthusiastic participants in attendance.
The primary focus of the training program was to equip individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to become Christ-like disciples. This aligns with the church’s mission of nurturing and empowering individuals to become faithful followers of Christ. The program covered various aspects of discipleship, including the importance of prayer, studying the Bible, and fostering a deeper relationship with God.

Under the leadership of Rev. Kailas Sathe, the pastor of the Church of Hadapsar, the program was meticulously organised and well-received by the participants. The program also received the honour of the presence of Rev. Paulas Pawar, the district superintendent. Rev. Pawar shared his words of wisdom and encouraged the attendees to continue their journey towards becoming true disciples of Christ.
The two-day training program also included a dinner fellowship where the participants had the opportunity to connect and share their experiences. It was a time of bonding and building relationships within the community of believers. The attendees also benefited from the interactive sessions, where they could raise questions and clarify their doubts regarding discipleship.
